Symphony No. 9 in F major

was written by Herschel in ā€œSunderland in the County of Durham, Juny 20st 1761ā€. There are three movements:

Allegro assai, Andante assai and Allegretto.

It is scored for 2 violins, viola, bass. This edition is based upon GB Lbm Add. MS 49625/3 (holograph score) and MS 49629/3 (holograph parts).
