Herschel Press, aims to provide scores and parts for the musical work of Sir William Herschel; it has been an intermittent labour of love over some fourteen years to see the music, until now in manuscript only, in a carefully edited and prepared form that allows the possibility of the music being performed again.
If you are interested in Herschel’s music, please do download the scores and parts. There is no charge, but I would earnestly encourage you to make a contribution in return to the Herschel Society, which celebrates the life and work of the Herschel family (there is a page for donations).
