Symphony No. 6 in B flat major

was written when Herschel was living in “Sunderland Nov, 30 1760”. There are three movements:

Allegro, Andante and Allegro.

It is scored for 2 violins, viola, violoncello, continuo. This edition is based upon GB Lbm Add. MS 49624/6 (holograph score) and MS 49628/5 (holograph parts).
