Symphony No. 14 in D major

was written by Herschel in “Leeds Aprill the 14th 1762”. There are three movements:

Allegro assai, Andante and Adagio – Allegretto.

It is scored for 2 violins, viola, (violoncello), double bass, 2 flutes, 2 oboes, 2 horns, (timpani), continuo. This edition is based upon GB Lbm Add. MS 49626/2 (holograph score) and MS 49630/3 (holograph parts).
